When does my child start to pray?

Question: Regarding the seven years [mentioned in the Hadeeth], is the intent whenever (the child) enters into (their) seventh year or completes seven (years of age).

Answer by Sheikh AbdulAziz bin Baaz رحمه الله تعالى:

Whenever (the child) completes seven years and enters their eighth year.

Note: This is the hijri calender.
