Shaykh Rabi' ibn Hadi al-Madkhali - may Allah preserve him - said:
"The truthful sincere Salafi, looks at every action or belief, and establishes it in accordance to the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah - عليه الصلاةوالسلام -. They (the Salafis) wage war against desires, innovations and misguidance. They raise the banner of Sunnah and give advice to the Muslims. They explain to them the truth and clarify to them the path of guidance from the misguidance and clarify to them that which will bring happiness in their worldly affairs and their Hereafter."
