The Occurrence of Fitnah

Shaykh Sālih Al-Fawzān (may Allāh preserve him) said:

﴾Do you think that you shall be left alone while Allah has not yet tested those among you who have striven hard and fought and have not taken Walijah [(Batanah - helpers, advisors and consultants from disbelievers, pagans, etc.) giving openly to them their secrets] besides Allah and His Messenger, and the believers.﴿ [9.16]

﴾Allah will not leave the believers in the state in which you are now, until He distinguishes the wicked from the good. Nor will Allah disclose to you the secrets of the Ghaib (unseen).﴿ [3.179]

"We will not know the people of evil except with the occurrence of Fitnah."
